About this work...

The photographs used in this work were taken at a park in Sacramento one autumn day. My grandson, Sam, was a little over a year old then. He did put a large leaf on his head and gestured as if it was a special moment, a mystical moment.

The photograph of him was also used to create a different interpretation for 'The Magus." Such an interesting soul, it seems in the mornings he likes to watch the geriatric crowd exercising on television. Of course, he studies their every move and exercises right along with them.
